Live questions and answers
You can complete the e-learning course at your own pace and time before attending the live training. This course introduces the basic concepts and processes involved in composting and mushroom growing, followed by questions to consolidate your learning. Immediate feedback is provided once you submit your answers.
During the live training, all participants start with the same foundational knowledge, allowing more time to address individual questions. This interactive setting not only benefits the individual participant but also enriches the learning experience through knowledge sharing between the trainer and other participants. Discussing the everyday practice at the composting facilities and mushroom farms of the participants helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, which is central to effective learning.
The course includes daily visits to mushroom growers, composting companies, and other suppliers, providing participants with the opportunity to directly observe, touch, and smell the real-world operations. This hands-on approach enhances understanding and application of the learned concepts in practical settings.
The target audience have a little or no experience. He or she work or start to work in the mushroom industry, as grower, composter or all other kind of work in the mushroom industry. Investors who want to get an overview of the mushroom industry get insight in the daily practice of mushroom cultivation.
Our trainers, John Peeters and Mark den Ouden, are true veterans of the industry. Raised in mushroom-growing families, they’ve been immersed in the craft since childhood. With over 25 years of collaboration, they bring a wealth of knowledge gained through hands-on training and extensive global consultancy work.
