In this module, you will learn the basics of optimal watering for compost and casing soil, as well as climate control. You will discover the key factors necessary to achieve the best results as a grower.
E-Learning
The e-learning is based on the book “Mushroom Signals.” This module covers both mycelium growth and recovery growth. You will learn how much water to give the compost and what to look out for. What constitutes good mycelium, how to achieve it, and what temperature, humidity (R.H.), and CO2 levels are optimal under various conditions? Since compost quality always fluctuates, you will learn how to manage these variations to consistently achieve the best results. We expect you to spend approximately 3 hours on this module.
Webinar
During the online live training session, the e-learning component is explained and discussed in more detail by the trainer. Together with fellow students (maximum 15), you will discuss problems you encounter in daily practice. This exchange will help you assess and optimise your operational processes.
